Neymar is still without a new contract extension deal with Paris Saint-Germain. Even after months of rumors and speculation pointing towards Neymar soon signing a new deal, PSG still has not announced such an agreement with the Brazilian star.
One recent report noted that PSG would have already unveiled the details of its extension agreement with Neymar had it not been for his adductor injury. PSG had early plans of announcing the deal ahead of the UEFA Champions League first leg clash against Barcelona, but the forward’s injury put a pause to such arrangements.
Now, PSG is simply waiting on the ‘right time’ to finally announce the long-awaited extension deal with Neymar, as noted by Isabela Pagliari to Europe 1. Pagliari made mention that it is simply a matter of time before PSG makes the agreement official.
PSG is set to take on Lille OSC and FC Bayern Munich in back-to-back massive fixtures following the ongoing international break. The club could always shock supporters by announcing the deal around this time, but it may seem ideal that the forward simply focuses on preparing for both fixtures instead.
