Official Lineup: Navas Looks to Deliver Another Clutch Performance for PSG in the Ligue 1 Fixture Against Lyon

Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 fixtures over the second half of the season have in years past not meant much to the team. Around this point in the season, PSG usually has a sizeable lead in the league, which allows for the team to rest several players.

However, this has not been the case for PSG this season. The reigning Ligue 1 champions stand at second place in the league standings behind Lille OSC. More so, PSG sits at points level with Olympique Lyonnais, who the French powerhouse will take on today.

Here is how PSG is lining up its side for this massive league match.

Keylor Navas starts for PSG in this matchup. The Costa Rican goalkeeper has had a fine month thanks to his key performances against the likes of Lille.

Marquinhos leads PSG’s backline for this fixture. The Brazilian will be aiming to limit Memphis Depay’s production in PSG’s defensive third.

Marco Verratti will lead PSG’s midfield setup. It will be interesting to see on the attacking responsibilities that he will end up having in this match.

Neymar is back and available to feature for PSG. However, the Brazilian will start this match on the bench. In the meantime, PSG’s attacking setup with Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria will aim to provide the team with a lead by the time Neymar enters the match.

PSG will look to pile on to its current league winning streak.
