PSG’s Ángel Di María and Marquinhos Become Latest Victims to Have Their Homes Burglarized

Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-1 loss to FC Nantes played a backseat to two players on the capital club squad. During the match, many people wondered why cameras caught an exchange between PSG sporting director Leonardo and manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Minutes later, Ángel Di María was substituted out of the fixture at the 62nd-minute mark and immediately left the stadium. Later, media outlets such as CBS Sports revealed that the 33-year-old’s home had been burglarized with his family in their home. The other house targeted by intruders belonged to the parents of Marquinhos.

Over the last few years, plenty of capital club players have been victims of burglary. Last month, Mauro Icardi had his home broken into, and it’s a growing concern among the supporters, who have suggested why the club can’t do anything about this issue.

Perhaps what comes out of this dark day is that Les Parisiens can finally look into the matter come up with a solution, or at least figure out why these burglaries keep happening to their player.
