Video: ‘It Will Be Complicated in the Second Leg’ – Frenkie de Jong Comments on Barça’s Champions League Loss to PSG

FC Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong had a subpar performance in the 4-1 first-leg loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. The 23-year-old had 53 touches in the match but only resulted in one key pass for the Spanish side.

The only contribution that de Jong had in the 90 minutes was the controversial foul he generated in the first half that led to Lionel Messi converting the penalty kick goal.

After the match, the Netherlands international spoke to the media, where de Jong discussed the loss to the capital club.

“I think we did well at the beginning of the game, but in the second half, they were superior. It will be complicated in the second leg, but we have to try,” de Jong said.
