Official Lineup: Kean and Paredes Earn Starts for PSG’s Ligue 1 Fixture Against AS Monaco

Just days after its convincing UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg win over FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain now returns to Ligue 1 action for a fixture against AS Monaco.

PSG blew a lead against Monaco in the away league fixture earlier this season. Thus, PSG will not only be looking to avenge the loss but also aim to create further separation away from Monaco in the league standings.

Here is how Mauricio Pochettino is lining up PSG for this league fixture.

On the heels of a strong performance against Barca, Keylor Navas will take the start against Monaco at the goalkeeper position.

Pochettino is not electing to rest any of his regular defensive players for this matchup. Marquinhos will captain PSG for this match, while Layvin Kurzawa takes the start out at the left-back position.

Leandro Paredes was a key contributor in PSG’s win over Barca and will now make a start against Monaco. The Argentine will lead PSG in its midfield setup once again this season.

Neymar and Angel Di Maria remain out of action due to their respective injuries. Still, the Kylian Mbappe, Moise Kean and Mauro Icardi trio should be just enough to lead PSG to a league win over Monaco.

PSG needs a victory in this match, especially as Lille OSC and Olympique Lyonnais remain in top form at this point in the season.
