Three years ago, Neymar Jr. arrived in the French capital to begin his career with Paris Saint-Germain. The 28-year-old’s tenure with the capital club hasn’t been without its warts; nonetheless, the Brazil international is embracing the club.
After appearing in the capital club’s 4-0 win over Montpellier HSC, Neymar made his 100th appearance for Les Parisiens. In his postgame comments, Neymar spoke about reaching this milestone with PSG TV.
“I’m very happy, very happy to have been able to play my 100th game with the Parisian jersey on my shoulders. We win, I score too. I’m very happy about it. I’m really happy with these goals and these assists, but I want to continue to do more, score more, and help my teammates even more,” Neymar said. “I also thank Kylian for the pass! It was also important for him to score and regain confidence.”
Undoubtedly the Brazil international will reach 200th appearances barring health and an extension with the capital club.
