New Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino held his first training session with the club, but several players were not able to participate in it.
For one, Neymar returned to the club after spending the Christmas break in Brazil.

But instead of taking part in the scheduled training session, the PSG forward instead underwent care for his injury, according to a report from Le Parisien.
The PSG forward has not played in a fixture since suffering the left ankle injury during the home Ligue 1 fixture against Olympique Lyonnais earlier this season. Many presumed that the forward would miss a significant amount of time due to the injury, but it is looking likely that he can soon return to action.
At the moment, Neymar’s status for the team’s upcoming league fixture against AS Saint-Etienne is up in the air. The club will surely continue to evaluate the Brazilian’s condition and come to a determination in the coming days on his availability for the game.
