Official Lineup: Pochettino Looks to Pick up First Win as PSG’s New Manager in Brest Fixture

Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 underperformances continued in its recent 1-1 draw result against AS Saint-Etienne. In Mauricio Pochettino’s debut match as PSG’s new manager, the Ligue 1 powerhouse simply failed to find that much-needed second goal.

Pochettino now turns to PSG’s league fixture against Brest as he looks to pick up his first win as the club’s new manager. This fixture is also his first at the Parc des Princes as PSG manager, so it sure would be special for him to notch a win in this contest.

Here is how Pochettino is lining up his side against Brest.

Keylor Navas once again takes the start for PSG at the goalkeeper position. One could make a strong case that he has been the top goalkeeper in Ligue 1 this season.

As was the case in its last fixture agent AS Saint-Etienne, PSG will rely on team captain Marquinhos to lead its backline.

PSG will once again have Ander Herrera start as a base midfielder in a league contest, especially as the likes of Leandro Paredes and Rafinha are out for this fixture.

It seems that Pochettino is rolling with Marco Verratti to take hold of the central attacking midfield role. Meanwhile, both Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria will fill the winger spots for PSG in its 4-3-3 formation against Brest.

A win for PSG in this match is needed to at the least keep its second place standing in the Ligue 1 table.
