Against FC Nantes, Paris Saint-Germain won 3-0 thanks to the scoring of Ander Herrera, Kylian Mbappé, and Pablo Sarabia.

For Thomas Tuchel, this game’s formation required him to create a tactical strategy due to the absences and physical forms of individual players. After the match, the German manager spoke to the media with Goal.com relaying his words.

“I am very happy. We have made a lot of changes because we feel it is necessary. We can’t wait for it to always be spectacular. The spectators are missing, don’t forget that. They are also essential for the show,” Tuchel said. “I’m happy because we played a very serious match. I saw good energy, quality. We were more liberated in the second half. We had a little bit of success too. It’s like that in football.”

Tuchel then discussed the situation with Kean and Mbappé, who were taken out of the match for precautionary reasons rather than injury.

“Kylian, I think it’s not an injury. It is only fatigue. The same goes for Moise Kean. He took too many hits. It was very painful,” Tuchel said. “He told me he wanted to continue, but I said no. Now was not the time to take too many risks. I really hope we don’t have any new injured player.”
