Report: PSG Linked With Udinese Goalkeeper for a Possible Transfer Deal

Paris Saint-Germain is being linked with Argentine and current Udinese goalkeeper Juan Musso for a possible transfer deal, according to a report from the Italian-based outlet CalcioMercato.

PSG is joining Inter Milan in the interest of Musso. The 26-year-old goalkeeper is reported to be valued at a €30 million transfer fee.

Musso has emerged as the clear starting goalkeeper for the Serie A side since joining the club from Argentine side Racing Club in 2018. Last season, he appeared in all 38 of Udinese’s Serie A fixtures. This season, he has only missed a pair of games but has notched two clean sheets along the way.

The report does not speculate as to the reason for PSG’s reported interest in Musso. However, the club may soon be aiming to find a third-string goalkeeper for its depth chart. Current PSG third-string goalkeeper Alexandre Letellier joined the club over the recent summer transfer window on a free transfer agreement. Letellier’s current deal is for a one-season stint, which will then make him a free agent next year. If PSG does not renew Letellier’s deal, the club could turn its attention to Musso to fill the possible vacant third-string goalkeeper role for next season.
