Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 away loss to AS Monaco last week snapped an eight-game league winning streak for the club. Now, PSG is aiming to get back to its winning ways in league play and will be seeking to do so beginning with a home fixture against Bordeaux. With multiple players now back from injury, manager Thomas Tuchel has elected to go with this formidable starting 11 against Bordeaux.

With Keylor Navas out for the contest due to a small pain precaution, goalkeeper Sergio Rico will be making his third league start of the season. This will now put him for more league starts over the ongoing campaign than he recorded all of last season where he logged two starts.
With Marquinhos out for the second straight league fixture due to a precaution with his adductors, Presnel Kimpembe will once again lead PSG’s backline. Kimpembe missed PSG’s recent UEFA Champions League group stage fixture against RB Leipzig due to a red card suspension, so he is now well rested and ready to help PSG bounce back in league play.
Tuchel is once again shaking up the midfield. A welcome sight for the German manager is that Marco Verratti will be starting in a league fixture for the first time since early October. The Italian midfielder did make his return from injury during the team’s recent fixture against Leipzig. With no setbacks from his quad injury during the game, he gave the team’s coaching staff a green light that he is ready to once again start for the team.
Neymar will be leading PSG’s attack upfront. He is aiming for his first league goal since the fixture against Angers earlier this season. Meanwhile, Kean is set for another league start while Kylian Mbappe eyes his 100th career goal with PSG.
PSG is currently on an 11-game unbeaten streak in all competitions against Bordeaux.
