For the first time in weeks, Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is playing in a fixture for the club. The Brazilian forward came off the bench during the second half of PSG’s away Ligue 1 fixture against AS Monaco. PSG manager Thomas Tuchel subbed off Angel Di Maria as a result.

The PSG forward had been dealing with a notable adductor injury over the past couple of weeks. He first suffered the injury during the team’s away UEFA Champions League group stage fixture against Istanbul Basaksehir. He went on to miss three of PSG’s fixtures before the November international break, including the team’s Champions League contest against RB Leipzig earlier this month.
After spending the international break with both the Brazilian national team and PSG’s medical staff recovering from his injury, Neymar is now deemed as recovered from his adductor issue.
This is all a promising sign for not only Neymar’s health but also his possible availability for PSG’s upcoming return Champions League group stage fixture against RB Leipzig next week.
