In a statement made by the Ligue de Football Professionnel announced that they want to honor Maradona. A man who made millions of children dream and later became professional footballers themselves. A few of those players include Paris Saint-Germain’s Ángel Di María and Leandro Paredes.

The capital club tweeted a photo of the entire squad holding the Argentina flag and National Team kit to honor Maradona. A few players commented in a video that Les Parisiens also released onto their social media outlets on what the Argentine footballer meant to their life.

When the capital club takes on FC Girondins de Bordeaux, expect Di María and Paredes to commemorate their fellow compatriot in a way that shows how much Maradona meant to them as Argentines.
