In what could be the first of many achievements for the Presnel Kimpembe, the 25-year-old played in his 100th Ligue 1 match after Paris Saint-Germain defeated Angers SCO 6-1.
Overall, Kimpembe has already made 146 appearances for Les Parisiens, so he’s already closing in on 200 appearances, which he could reach this season.
After the match, Kimpembe was presented a kit marking the occasion, and the capital club youth product spoke with PSG TV on reaching this mark, which he’s wearing with pride.
“My 100th game in Ligue 1? I feel a lot of pride, time flies. I was not aware that it was my 100 until tonight, I knew it before the game. It’s wonderful to wear this jersey proudly so many times in Ligue 1. It’s a huge pride,” Kimpembe said.
“We will try to make the most of it, hopefully with many more victories. We had the right team tonight. We were very present. The attackers did the job. The work has paid off and we are very happy tonight.”
