After the departure of former Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva, the capital club could be in the market for another center-back, mostly if they’re not sold on Thilo Kehrer and Abdou Diallo.
With the possible needs for a central defender, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel seems to be the driving force to bring Chelsea FC defender Antonio Rüdiger to the French capital. According to RMC Sport, the German manager is apparently in contact with his fellow countryman over a move to Les Parisiens.
Nonetheless, it doesn’t seem as though PSG sporting director is keen on bringing in a player that Tuchel covets. The Brazilian has only inquired over a possible loan, which might not go over well with Tuchel.
The reigning Ligue 1 champions are also in talks for Chelsea midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko, so perhaps Rüdiger’s name has popped up in discussions. Nonetheless, they face competition for the German international as Tottenham Hotspur are also interested.
