Video: Thiago Silva’s Glorious Career at Paris Saint-Germain

When Thiago Silva arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in 2012 from AC Milan, he was already a star, but it’s in the French capital where he has cemented his legacy as one of the best center-backs in the game.

Throughout his eight-year career with Les Parisiens, Silva has been the steady force at the back in a team that is ever-changing. In 2018, he became the most capped captain in the history of the club and at 35-year-old, he’s won every trophy in France including seven Ligue 1 titles. While the UEFA Champions League still eludes him, he has an opportunity to win it this season with PSG reaching the quarter-finals for the first time since 2016.

Unless a last-minute contract extension is presented to Silva, this season will be his last in the French capital. If this is the end of the Brazilian’s run in Paris, let’s look back at some of his best moments in PSG colors.
