With so much firepower going forward, it’s easy to forget that Paris Saint-Germain had one of the best defenses in Ligue 1 and only allowed two goals in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
A bit factor in PSG keeping teams off the scoresheet has been Keylor Navas, who arrived last summer in a surprising transfer from Real Madrid.
The three-time Champions League winner provided stability in goal for a PSG side that had been desperately searching for a player of his experience and quality for years.
Along with Navas, Sergio Rico (on loan from Sevilla FC) and Marcin Bulka also made spot appearances this season and all three feature in this video of the eight best saves of the Ligue 1 season:
