The 2019-20 season could be the very last for Thiago Silva at Paris Saint-Germain.
Silva’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season and with no extension offered as of yet, the 35-year-old center-back could be on his way out of the French capital and onto another team to wrap up his career.
If this is his last season as the captain of PSG, it will be sad to see him go not only because of his eight years of service but because he turned back the clock and performed like a much younger player. I even wrote earlier this season that he deserved a contract extension.
Hopefully, PSG can send O Monstro out with his first UEFA Champions League title. It’s nothing short of what he deserves after years of loyalty and legendary performances.
