Report: Arsenal Shows Interest in One of PSG’s Most Talented Teenagers

When it comes to the future of Adil Aouchiche, one of the crown jewels of the Paris Saint-Germain youth system, AS Saint-Étienne is probably the only club heavily pursuing the 17-year-old who has yet to sign a professional contract with the Ligue 1 champions.

Other French clubs such as Lille OSC and FC Girondins de Bordeaux are monitoring the situation, but none are showing the reported interest like Saint-Étienne.

There’s not a lot of interest abroad in Aouchiche like there is for Tanguy Kouassi, the other PSG youth product that’s sought after. Nonetheless, the teenager is finally drawing attention outside of France as Arsenal FC is joining the race.

According to ESPN, the Premier League club is looking to bring the France international to join another player that went through the PSG youth system, Matteo Guendouzi.

Furthermore, Arsenal is more than capable of meeting the wage demands that Aouchiche is commanding. Despite not having much professional experience, his camp is asking for a €4 million signing bonus and a weekly wage of €25,000. They also feel the player would develop faster at the Emirates than the Parc des Princes where playing time is hard to come by for youngsters.

With French clubs hesitant to meet those demands, the Gunners could flex their financial muscle along with the promise of significant playtime to land Aouchiche.
