If aliens came to Earth and asked why football is called the beautiful game, I would show them a video of Neymar Jr. playing a through ball to a sprinting Kylian Mbappé.
It really doesn’t get much better when two of the most valuable footballers in the world link up for a goal—even if it is against a 10-man Montpellier HSC side.
With PSG already up 3-0 before halftime, the Ligue 1 leaders wasted no time in the second half and carved through Montpellier’s defense in the 57th minute.
Neymar’s played a long pass to Mbappé and the Frenchman calmly did the rest. He faked his shot to make the goalkeeper commit and then simply dribbled past him and finished with ease.
The goal was Mbappé’s 22nd of the season and he continues to show why he is the best young player in the game today.
