Video: Neymar Escapes 4 Monaco Players Using Incredible Technique

Last Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain battled AS Monaco to a 3-3 draw at the Parc des Princes with Neymar Jr. scoring two goals and playing a role in PSG’s third, which was ultimately recorded as an own-goal.

Throughout the match, it was obvious that Neymar was fully engaged. He was the highest-rated player on the pitch for PSG, per Le Parisien, and received a warm welcome from the supporters for his efforts.

During the match, there was a moment of brilliance that you may have missed.

Pinned back in his own end, Neymar received the ball facing Keylor Navas’ goal and was quickly surrounded by four Monaco players.

The Brazil international, who is not usually known for his physicality, held off several of the players while dancing around the others.

If it was anyone else other than Neymar, I would say dribbling towards your own goal is not a great idea but PSG’s number 10 remained calm and created just enough space to pick out a pass to an open teammate to spring PSG’s attack.

It was a brief moment where Neymar reminded everyone why he is one of the best players in the world when healthy.
