This season, Neymar Jr. has scored seven goals in 10 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain. That’s even more impressive when you consider he missed a month of the season due to a hamstring injury.
Against AS Saint-Étienne on Sunday night, the Brazilian recorded another assist (his fourth of the season) to Kylian Mbappé for PSG’s second goal on the night.
In addition to the goals and assists, PSG and Neymar fans have become accustomed to seeing the flashy number 10 display some incredible skills on the ball that isn’t always well received by opposing players and managers.

To have the mindset to pull this move off in the middle of a game requires immense confidence and technical ability. The thing is, this isn’t just a one-off. Neymar routinely pulls off incredible moves on the ball to either free up space or find one of his teammates streaking towards goal.
It’s another reminder that behind all of the drama and controversy, Neymar is one of the best footballers in the world.
