PSG Takeover: 3000 Fans Expected to Travel to Real Madrid

Attention Real Madrid supporters, you’ve been warned:

If you’re a Real Madrid supporter and you only read the Spanish media’s interpretation of Paris Saint-Germain, you probably believe the club’s supporters are plastic and nothing to really worry about. Well, that couldn’t be farther from the truth as the videos above show.

Against Liverpool FC and Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League last season, PSG Ultras not only took over Anfield and Old Trafford, but they also took over both cities!

After the commanding 3-0 win over Madrid at the Parc des Princes earlier this season, the 3,000 PSG supporters who are expected to travel to Madrid, as reported by Le Parisien, will be in full voice leading up to the match and throughout the evening.

If things go PSG’s way, expect a full-blown takeover of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. A win would secure a first-place finish in Group A of the Champions League but more importantly, it would be a win over the club that has aspirations of signing Kylian Mbappé next summer. If PSG can win two matches over Madrid and the Ultras (there will be 500 in attendance) can out-sing and out-chant the home crowd, Mbappé may start to question if next season is the right time to join Los Blancos.

Whatever the result is, I’m looking forward to another city being taken over by PSG supporters and all of the videos shared on social media. Allez Paris!
