With less than an hour away from the newest installment of Le Classique, the starting lineups for both squads are officially out.
Let’s begin with Paris Saint-Germain, who will have Kylian Mbappé in the starting eleven. After much speculation of whether or not the French international would start to do his injury, it looks as though he’s healthy enough to get the start.
After his comments about the city of Marseille, Presnel Kimpembe starts alongside Thiago Silva. Although the match isn’t in Marseille, keep an eye out to see whether or not players on the squad decide to have some words with him. Finally, with the injury to Thomas Meunier, Colin Dagba has the opportunity to solidify the right-back position.
Both OM and PSG will rely on Argentine strikers who will be making their Classique debut in Mauro Icardi and Darío Benedetto.
The rest of the Marseille attack will consist of Dimitri Payet and Valère Germain out on the wings. Marseille will look to win the midfield battle with Maxime Lopez, Valentin Rongier, and Kevin Strootman; while on defense, their backline is anchor by Boubacar Kamara and Duje Ćaleta-Car with Steve Mandanda in goal.
