Paris Saint-Germain won their sixth straight Ligue 1 match in a row as they defeated Olympique Lyonnais 2-0 at the Parc des Princes on Sunday.
The win was somewhat controversial as it took two own-goals for PSG to see the game through and secure the three points. Here to break down the highs and lows of the game is Marc Damon (@MarcDamon1), host of PSG Small Talk.
In the latest episode, Marc talks about PSG’s dominating start to the season and how important that is given all of the new faces in the squad. Against Lyon, several players performed well but Layvin Kurzawa continues to struggle. Is it time for the left-back to be replaced by Yuri Berchiche? Adrien Rabiot gutted out an impressive performance and Thiago Silva and Presnel Kimpembe held things together on defense.
As it always is with PSG though, the game is never just about the score or tactics. There’s always drama. Marc gives his thoughts on the Neymar Jr./Edinson Cavani penalty kick fiasco (#penaltygate). Who should be PSG’s primary penalty taker?
