Paris Saint-Germain prospect Arnaud Kalimuendo will be returning to the French powerhouse this summer following a one-season loan stint with RC Lens. PSG went out of its way to reportedly block Lens from triggering a buy option for Kalimuendo, which will now see the forward come back to his parent club in the coming weeks.
From there, Kalimuendo’s future with PSG is uncertain. As noted by L’Equipe (via Le10Sport), PSG is set to meet with its prized forward prospect to discusses his future at the club.
For now, it is not yet known which option PSG is leaning towards regarding Kalimuendo’s footballing future, whether the club aims to bring him back for next season or send him off for another one-season loan stint.
One recent report noted that PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino is a fan of Kalimuendo and would prefer that the club keeps him for the upcoming new campaign.
Kalimuendo finished off the recent Ligue 1 campaign with Lens scoring a career-high seven goals.
