Report: Pochettino Considering Adding Kalimuendo to PSG’s Forward Depth for Next Season

The ongoing season is nearing a close and Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino already has a focus on the upcoming summer transfer window.

PSG will have a number of dilemmas to resolve within the team, including with the future of forward prospect Arnaud Kalimuendo. He is currently on loan with RC Lens and is slated to return to parent club PSG following the ongoing campaign.

For Pochettino, he is closely analyzing Kalimuendo for the possibility of having him for forward depth next season, as noted by Le Parisien (via Le10Sport).

PSG faces uncertain futures with both Mauro Icardi and Moise Kean. The Argentine forward has been in the rumor mill regarding a possible departure from the club over the upcoming summer transfer window. Meanwhile, Kean is still on par to return to parent club Everton when his one-year stint with PSG is up.

Thus, PSG may look to Kalimuendo as a key depth player for the next season.

The French forward has so far recorded 10 goal involvements in Ligue 1 play this season with seven goals scored and three assists recorded. The PSG prospect has played a key role in helping Lens maintain a current fifth place standing in the league table.
