The winter transfer window has closed, and for now, Alexander Isak is still with Newcastle United. There wasn’t much chatter about a move this winter, but expect several clubs to revisit the idea in the summer.

RMC Sport’s Daniel Riolo recently suggested that PSG, which has been linked to Isak by Fichajes, should make a strong push to bolster its attack under Luis Enrique.

“Wouldn’t you go all-in on Alexander Isak if you were PSG?” Riolo said. “PSG could very well go all-in. Can we swap Ramos and Kolo Muani for Isak? Can we make a package like that? You also add Asensio to the package. And come on, I’ll throw in Kang-In Lee too.”

Arsenal has also shown interest, but according to FootballTransfers, Liverpool are currently the most determined suitor and lead the race for his signature.

The Daily Express reports that Player Sustainability Regulations (PSR) factors could push Newcastle into reluctantly selling their star player.

Meanwhile, Eddie Howe is reportedly interested in bringing in two Liverpool defenders, Jarell Quansah and Joe Gomez, which could be part of a massive three-way swap deal.

As a result, the Express says Liverpool are in a “strong negotiating position” for a potential summer move for Isak.

Isak is one of the hottest strikers on the market, and Newcastle have reportedly set a hefty asking price. According to The Mirror, any club looking to sign the Swedish forward will need to pay €180 million, which would break the Premier League transfer record.

  1. Again, the Saudis are extremely unlikely to ever sell Isak to any of the Premier Leagues “dirty 6” due to to their efforts to prevent the takeover from ever happening.

  2. Youv e got more chance of getting a nosh of the pope, nufc will not sell this summer, and when and if he dies go it won’t be to a orem team after the way they’ve treat us

  3. The owners will want to get as much for him as possible to avoid another set to over PSR. So it really won’t matter where he goes and I’m certain that if he does leave, then Isak, himself, will have the last word.

    1. Your delusional if you think the Saudis would sell to septic 6 American owners ,as they are the ones that have tried to thwart Newcastle at every move
Newcastle are in a position to now add to the squad not sell as this season there are no psr /ffp troubles

  4. ENDLESS Media-invented gibberish. When will you realise that lies will never magically come true !!!!!!!
