In recent days, Paris Saint-Germain has been linked to Arsenal’s William Saliba to bolster its defense. The 23-year-old starred in the Gunners’ 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
CaughtOffside recently reported that Saliba is on the radar of Real Madrid, PSG, and Bayern Munich. Despite the slim chance of the Gunners letting Saliba go, given his contract runs until 2027, they’d only consider offers in the range of at least €120 million or more.
Nonetheless, Real Madrid could be making a serious move for the Frenchman as the Spanish giants sent a scout to the North London derby on Sunday to watch Saliba.
If that information is accurate then the club would have liked what they saw as WhoScored spotlighted an impressive stat, noting that Saliba didn’t misplace a single pass in the first half of the North London Derby.

PSG have quality center-backs on their team, but adding a young French defender would be a welcome addition. The capital club have already added more players from France over the past two summers, so it will be interesting to see if the Parisians do pursue Saliba in the future.
