Xavi Simons continues to show that the 2024-25 season was no fluke as various top European clubs follow his progress this campaign with RB Leipzig.
This past summer transfer window, Simons and Paris Saint-Germain made a short-term decision to loan him out again to the Bundesliga side for a second straight campaign. Nonetheless, that’s not pushing away the suitors.
In September, journalist Christian Falk revealed that Manchester City and Liverpool are closely monitoring Simons’ situation. Over the summer, the rising star attracted interest from major clubs like Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Manchester United.
Should Simons perform like he did against Augsburg on Saturday, many clubs will look to pay PSG top dollar for the 21-year-old. WhoScored spotlighted on X that Simons made three accurate through balls in RB Leipzig’s 4-0 win over Augsburg, setting a Bundesliga record for the season.

According to a recent report from Tutto Juve, Premier League giants Manchester City, Liverpool, and Manchester United are all interested in signing him next summer, with the transfer fee expected to exceed €100 million.
Juventus had been linked to Simons in recent months, but given the caliber of clubs involved and the hefty price tag Paris Saint-Germain is likely to demand, the Italian side is now out of the race.
