In his recent column for CaughtOffside, Romano revealed the tone of the Real Madrid dressing room after winning the Champions League this past weekend and with the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner joining this project.
“Real Madrid players are really excited about the possibility to play with Mbappe – they are not jealous at all, they believe that Real Madrid have the best technical project in the world, and that what they’re doing, step by step, is really special,” Romano noted in his column.
“Mbappe is joining, Endrick is joining, they are trusting their players even through injuries and difficult moments, and they want to win every single competition they’re in.”
Sky Sports News recently reported the financial details regarding the Frenchman’s arrival to Los Blancos. According to their information, Mbappé will receive a signing-on bonus of just over €100 million and will sign a five-year contract, earning €15 million a year after tax.
