Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon name surfaced on Saturday as a potential target for Paris Saint-Germain as they look to replace Kylian Mbappé this summer, who has left for Real Madrid as a free agent.
Players like Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia have recently been in the rumor mill with reports linking them to PSG.
However, this Gordon rumor might have fizzled out quickly as reports suggest that the Parisians could be looking at other targets and the Magpies made a sale to that could help them keep Gordon.
According to transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano, Gordon was offered to the capital club – but at the moment, PSG has different targets and priorities in that winger position.

Moreover, The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that Brighton & Hove Albion agreed to a fee of around £33 million to sign Yankuba Minteh from Newcastle United. The Gambia international winger has permission to discuss personal terms before completing the proposed move.
