Borussia Dortmund lost 2-0 to Real Madrid in the 2024 UEFA Champions League final on Saturday night at Wembley Stadium. The Spanish side, which won the competition, is getting richer as it will add Kylian Mbappé.

Mbappé will reportedly be announced as Real Madrid’s newest player this week, and details over the finances are beginning to emerge as the Spanish giants become a more powerful squad.

With the La Liga team securing the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, Manchester United loanee, who was with Borussia Dortmund for the final, Jadon Sancho revealed how he sees Los Blancos now that the soon-to-be former PSG standout is joining their ranks.

“Mbappé gives goals, gives assists,” Sancho told CNN Sports. “He’s a threat to any team in the world. So, you know, to have Vinícius, Mbappé, [Jude] Bellingham, and Rodrygo all on the same team – it’s scary. It’s very scary.”

The 25-year-old will receive a signing-on bonus of just over €100 million and will sign a five-year contract, earning €15 million a year after tax. It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid can win back-to-back Champions League titles next season since failing to do so will definitely bring criticism to Mbappé.
