Manuel Ugarte began his first season at Paris Saint-Germain impressively, but as the season progressed, his role diminished, often seeing him come off the bench or rotate in the squad.
Recently, Ugarte has been linked with moves to Serie A clubs like AC Milan and Juventus, but interest is also growing beyond Italy’s borders. According to Loïc Tanzi of L’Equipe, PSG rejected Manchester United’s initial bid for Ugarte, deeming it too low.
Nonetheless, these clubs should be receiving a boost as ESPN Uruguay reports that Manchester United seems ready to meet the demands of PSG. Moreover, Bayern Munich, Atlético de Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund remain on the lookout.

In May, the 23-year-old spoke about his future and noted his desire to stay, so it will be interesting to see if that happens or whether PSG cuts ties after one season.
“We’ll see,” Ugarte told Amazon Prime. “I would love to [stay at PSG]. We’ll have to see. For now, I’m here and enjoying the end of the season.”
Ugarte appeared in 37 matches across all competitions for PSG last season, registering three assists.
