Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have repeatedly been linked to Napoli’s impressive player, Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian striker seems to be leaving the Italian team this summer, with speculation pointing towards the Premier League as his desired new destination.
After switching from LOSC Lille, the Nigerian international has netted a total of 76 goals, with 65 of those coming in Serie A, across 133 appearances for Napoli. Additionally, Osimhen played a pivotal role in Napoli’s success, securing the league title for them in the 2022-23 season.
Now that the player has experienced success in Serie A, he might feel it’s time to tackle a new challenge, and Arsenal could provide them with an opportunity.
According to Sky Italia‘s Gianluca Di Marzio (h/t Diario AS), Arsenal are expected to make a move for Benjamin Sesko or Osimhen in this summer market.
In a recent report, transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano revealed Chelsea and Napoli are not actively working on a direct swap deal involving Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku. As a result, it leaves the door open for teams like Arsenal or PSG to move in to secure the player.
