LOSC Lille’s Leny Yoro has just one year left on his contract, and if he opts not to extend, the club will need to sell him this summer. It was reported that Real Madrid was out of the race for the Frenchman. However, that might not be the case.
Manchester United have entered the race to challenge Paris Saint-Germain for Yoro, but one report notes that Los Blancos are still keen on the player.
Nacho Fernández has decided not to extend his contract, and there’s also concern over David Alaba’s injury, which might keep him off the field until August or September. As a result, Tuttomercatoweb (h/t Bernabéu Digital) reports that Real Madrid are in advance talks with Lille over Yoro.
According to the report, there are advanced talks between Real Madrid and the French club regarding the transfer of Yoro. Moreover, the Spanish side would be willing to pay €60 million for the transfer.
The information also reveals that the Ligue 1 side have already accepted the proposal. Yoro’s salary would start from a base of €4 million plus bonuses under a long-term agreement until 2029.
