Fabrizio Romano Reveals PSG Superstar’s Rejected Offers, Desire for Real Madrid Transfer

Kylian Mbappé announced on Friday that he’ll be leaving Paris Saint-Germain after this season, with his contract expiring next month. Furthermore, the Frenchman’s destination was always Real Madrid, and there was no Plan B option.

The 25-year-old posted a video lasting over three minutes sharing his plans to depart. He admitted to some mistakes, declared his love for the club, and announced his departure for “a new challenge.”

While the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner didn’t say where he’d continue his career, everyone knows that it’s Real Madrid. Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano reports that Mbappé only ever wanted to join Real Madrid when he decided to leave PSG.

Moreover, Romano notes that Mbappé rejected a €200 million per season salary from Saudi Arabia and never advanced in talks with any Premier League club.

Now, as the transfer saga nears its end, everyone eagerly anticipates the official announcement of his signing with Real Madrid. The soon-to-be former PSG player will reportedly be presented as the Spanish giants’ newest player after the Champions League final.
