PSG vs. Barcelona: Report Unveils Mood in Parisians’ Dressing Room After First Leg Loss

On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain lost 3-2 to FC Barcelona at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie. While the result isn’t ideal, considering it was a home match for the Parisians, the mood within the team isn’t deflated.

Raphinha opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 37th minute of the first half. After a relatively quiet opening 45 minutes, the second half saw an explosion of goals. Ousmane Dembélé leveled the score against his former team in the 48th minute. Shortly after, Vitinha put the capital club ahead 2-1, scoring two goals in just two minutes.

However, Barcelona quickly responded. Raphinha scored his second goal in the 62nd minute, bringing the score to 2-2. Then, Andreas Christensen headed in a goal 15 minutes later, giving Barcelona a 3-2 lead with two consecutive unanswered goals.

According to the X account Djamel, PSG manager Luis Enrique and the players are clear in their minds: no matter what happened yesterday, the group believes they’re going to qualify in Barcelona. The players and staff are aware of the mistakes made in the game yesterday. There is no stress in the locker room; quite the contrary.

The Ligue 1 side also needs Kylian Mbappé to be a figure in Spain, and RMC Sport recently reported that the Frenchman is ready to redeem himself.
