The Best Photos From PSG’s 2-2 Draw Against Stade de Reims

Following qualification to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League mid-week, Paris Saint-Germain returned to Ligue 1 action as they hosted Stade de Reims on Sunday at the Parc des Princes.

Luis Enrique’s side previously defeated Reims in November by a score of 3-0, but a string of two consecutive draws in Ligue 1 signaled a dip in domestic form recently.

To make the mission a bit more difficult, Luis Enrique chose to bench Kylian Mbappé against Reims—a move he’s made in recent weeks to prepare his side for life without the France international when he likely leaves this summer for Real Madrid.

Marshall Munetsi fired Reims into the lead in the 7th minute after an error from Achraf Hakimi, but PSG found their way back into the match 10 minutes later thanks to an own-goal. Then, two minutes later, PSG pulled into the lead off a corner when Gonçalo Ramos scored an opportunistic goal.

Unfortunately, PSG would give up a goal at the worst possible time, right before halftime, and they wouldn’t be able to recover as the match finished 2-2.

It was the third straight draw for PSG in Ligue 1, but they still hold a comfortable 10-point lead over Stade Brestois. Up next for PSG is a quarter-final clash against OGC Nice in the Coupe de France on March 13.
