Paris Saint-Germain reportedly wants to inject more youth into their backline. The process began with Lucas Beraldo and now the capital club is recently linked to LOSC Lille’s Leny Yoro. However, there’s a significant hurdle in that saga.
Yoro is arguably the best young French defender, and with his Lille contract expiring in 2025, the teenager could be on the move this summer. Reports suggest that Real Madrid and PSG are the front runners, but new information reveals that the Spanish side could have the lead.
According to MARCA’s Ramón Álvarez de Mon, Yoro is prioritizing signing with Real Madrid despite the efforts from the Parisians. However, the journalist notes that the club doubts it will have a spot for him next season if they extend Nacho.

The club may still intend to sign him and proceed to find a loan that allows the defender to continue his development. Nonetheless, PSG could use the lack of playing time to their advantage. Still, it’s a significant hurdle that the Parisians need to overcome if the information is accurate.
