Real Madrid Believes PSG Target Bears Resemblance to Manchester United Veteran

The competition to sign LOSC Lille’s Leny Yoro is intense, with several top European clubs vying for his signature. While Paris Saint-Germain wants to keep the young defender in Ligue 1, Real Madrid are eager to entice him away from France.

Real Madrid hopes to capitalize on the opportunity presented by Yoro’s contract with Lille expiring in 2025. Consequently, they aim to secure his signing on favorable financial terms.

Furthermore, the Lille center-back is Real Madrid’s top choice to strengthen the heart of their defense next summer. So why are Los Blancos keen on the teenager? Diario AS reports (h/t Le10Sport) that Yoro appears to closely resemble Manchester United defender Raphaël Varane in his profile.

Despite his height, he is highly reactive and precise on the field, sharing numerous defensive qualities with the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.

PSG continues to push to snatch him away from Lille and outmaneuver Real Madrid. Now, it remains to be seen if PSG’s sporting advisor, Luis Campos, will be able to make the necessary moves to beat Real Madrid.

  1. Raphael Varane may be a current Man United player but to omit that he won 4 Champions League titles with Real Madrid is completely biased and disrespectful.
He is a Real Madrid legend and the correct news to report is that Real Madrid think that Leny Yoro has a similar profile to their successful ex-player.
