Paris Saint-Germain will have to activate its plan to build a squad without Kylian Mbappé if he leaves for the Spanish capital. One of the targets surfacing in the football media is Marcus Rashford.
Rashford was linked to the French giants last summer. However, no move occurred, and he remained with Manchester United. Nonetheless, this year could be different.
Jacobs’s latest column for CaughtOffside provided an update on Rashford in Pars. He points out that Rashford is still dedicated to Manchester United. Still, there’s a chance he could consider a move to PSG in the summer.
For PSG to pursue this, Rashford would need to show that he’s open to leaving; otherwise, they’re not interested in wasting time on a transfer without his apparent approval.
The Parisians have other targets in the forward position ready to pursue should Mbappé depart. Jacobs reveals that Sporting Lisbon’s Victor Gyokeres and Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko are players of interest that PSG might look to land.
