Fabrizio Romano Reveals PSG’s Plan If Kylian Mbappé Leaves to Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain faces the reality that Kylian Mbappé leaves his hometown club this year. The 25-year-old’s contract expires in June, and several reports, although conflicting with other information, note that he’s bound for Real Madrid.

As a result, the Parisians need to have two plans ready to activate, one that includes the Frenchman and the other for life without Mbappé. Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano states the capital club is prepared to trigger the plan without the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.

PSG has devised a comprehensive strategy that doesn’t rely on Kylian Mbappé’s presence in the team. This blueprint encompasses three key signings for the upcoming summer transfer window:

  • A top-tier central defender.
  • A pivotal midfielder.
  • An attacking player slated to fill Mbappé’s role

Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and AC Milan’s Rafael Leão are on PSG’s radar to replace Mbappé. Nonetheless, the Ligue 1 side does have challenges if they look to land one of those two players. Both stars see themselves in the Premier League. It will take some convincing for them to come to the French capital.
