After rejecting the Spanish side in the past, transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano revealed what went into the Frenchman’s decision. The journalist notes that the primary theme for an exit is wanting a change of scenery.
“I think he felt it was time for him to try something different – he felt it was time for a new championship, a new city, a new project, and that’s why Mbappé wants to do something different after a long time at Paris Saint-Germain,” Romano said on CaughtOffside’s The Debrief Podcast (h/t Le10Sport).
