PSG reportedly aims to pursue Napoli’s Victor Osimhen this summer as a potential replacement for Mbappé’s production. Nonetheless, transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano provided the latest information on the race to land the Nigerian.
According to Romano, the Parisians will face stiff competition for the Napoli star. In his Daily Briefing column for CaughtOffside, he notes that Osimhen is likely to depart Napoli and has a release clause. However, no final decisions have yet been made about his future.
Chelsea is interested in acquiring him, as they plan to secure a top striker during the summer. Arsenal is also in the mix, exploring various options but leaning towards pursuing a top striker for the upcoming season.
Osimhen has made 18 appearances in all competitions for Napoli this 2023-24 season. The 25-year-old has scored eight goals and registered three assists.
