FC Barcelona will need a new coach after current manager Xavi Hernandez stated that he intends to leave the club following the conclusion of this season.
The Catalan side will probably start gathering a list of candidates to take over for Xavi. Jijantes FC’s Gerard Romero reports that Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique is among the names the Spanish side is considering.
According to Romero, Barça has three avenues open for the new coach: Hansi Flick, Roberto De Zerbi, and Luis Enrique. Regarding the PSG boss, the report adds that Barcelona would wait for him and are keeping an eye on his situation at PSG.

While it doesn’t seem that the Spanish tactician will be leaving anytime soon, there are issues he has dealt with regarding the Kylian Mbappé transfer saga. L’Equipe’s Loïc Tanzi recently reported that manager Luis Enrique did express an issue with the timing of this announcement.
The French media outlet notes that Enrique did not appreciate Mbappé announcing his departure during PSG’s most important challenges of the season. If Mbappé leaves this summer, Enrique will likely have a clean slate with autonomy over in-game decisions.
