AC Milan Star Draws Interest: Barcelona and PSG Emerge as Top Rivals, Report Says

AC Milan forward Rafael Leão will be in several rumors this summer as prominent European clubs eye the Portugal international.

With Paris Saint-Germain reportedly needing to replace Kylian Mbappé this summer, they’re a possible destination for Leão. However, the French giants wouldn’t be alone should they pursue the AC Milan star.

According to Relevo (h/t Le10Sport), FC Barcelona could be a real threat to PSG for Leão. Furthermore, the winger’s representative, Jorge Mendes, has good relations with both PSG football advisor Luis Campos and FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta.

Last year, the 24-year-old extended his contract with the Serie A side, signing a new deal until 2028. Moreover, the forward now has a short-term release clause of €175 million. As a result, if the Italian club were to sell, they’d want to get as close to that number as possible.

It will be interesting to see if either of these two teams spends that type of money or attempts to negotiate a reasonable price.
