Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly be losing Kylian Mbappé this summer. The 25-year-old is likely heading to Real Madrid, but are the Parisians actually looking to replace the Frenchman?
Since reports surfaced that Mbappé intends to leave this summer, AC Milan star Rafael Leao is a name that’s constantly linked to the capital club. While the Portuguese goal scorer is an excellent player, a report reveals whether PSG will make a move for him.
According to RMC Sport, PSG’s management ticked off several names, and Leao’s profile is appreciated, but there is no unanimity on his case. The French outlet notes that it does not appear today as a priority track for next season.
Today, it does not appear to be a priority avenue for the next season. The Portuguese has a release clause of €175 million. Paris will have resources this summer, but it’s not sure that the club will want to position itself, especially at this amount. A team-oriented player is being sought.
Furthermore, the club is placing a lot of trust in Bradley Barcola. The idea is not to make him a substitute next season. It’s a word that doesn’t even exist in Luis Enrique’s vocabulary, as he only sees potential starters.
