Kylian Mbappé should receive an offer from Real Madrid once the January transfer window opens. The Spanish side will revisit the saga and hope that the player gives them the green light this time.
Nonetheless, Los Blancos have reportedly learned from the past, and there’s a 15-day deadline that comes with their pre-contract proposal to the Frenchman, whose contract expires in June 2024.
OK Diario recently spoke with some people within Real Madrid and shed light on the thought process. The first source told the Spanish media outlet they’ve done everything to bring the Frenchman.
“We have already done everything we could to bring in Mbappé,” a source from Real Madrid told the outlet (h/t Le10Sport).
Meanwhile, another source told the platform that it’s in the hands of the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner’s hands. It will be up to him to decide whether he finally wants to join Real Madrid.
“It’s up to him to decide, but my mother used to say that sometimes opportunities don’t come back,” the source told OK Diario.
As for the Ligue 1 side, CBS Sports’ Ben Jacobs reported details occurring within PSG on Thursday. According to Jacobs, the French giants confidently navigate Mbappé’s future. Despite the outcome, Paris ensures financial stability, even if Mbappé departs on a free transfer this summer.
