Revealed: How Much Did PSG Earn In Champions League Bonuses This Group Stage?

The UEFA bonuses paid to clubs participating in continental competitions are significant, particularly for those who relate to the Champions League. Regarding Paris Saint-Germain, they’ve reportedly received all their bonuses now that the group stage is over.

Sportune complied with the bonuses the French giants received from the 2023-24 Champions League group stage. For qualifying for the group stage this season, PSG received a participation bonus of €15.64 million.

PSG had two victories in the group stage over Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan, resulting in a €7.46 million bonus. Furthermore, the Ligue 1 side earned €9.6 million for qualifying for the round of 16 stage. According to Sportune, PSG would have made a total of €96.339 million by qualifying for the round of 16.

The Parisians also received part of the bonus linked to television rights. As reigning French champions, PSG collected 40 percent of the first part of these total sums, estimated at €300 million. With PSG still alive in the tournament, there’s still more that the capital club can earn.
